World Games

There are two different World Games. Special Olympics World Summer Games and Special Olympics World Winter Games. Each is held every four years on an alternating two-year schedule. World Games are held over a number of days in a different country each games. So athletes will need to be comfortable with travelling away from home.

In order to compete in a World Games, athlete’s must have competed in T1, T2 and National events.
